Accessibility Statement
We want the site to work for everyone, and we want to hear about it when it does not.
Vantage Point Risk wants its website and insurance information to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. That includes visitors who use screen readers, screen magnifiers, keyboard navigation, browser zoom, mobile devices, voice-control software, or other assistive technology. Insurance is complicated enough; our goal is to make the website clear, readable, navigable, and practical.
Our accessibility goal
We work to make the site easier to use and understand. That includes attention to:
- clear page structure and practical headings;
- readable text and sufficient contrast;
- descriptive links and buttons;
- form labels and instructions;
- keyboard usability where practical;
- meaningful alternative text for important images;
- content that works across common browsers and devices;
- plain-language insurance explanations;
- multiple ways to contact our team.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Websites change, forms change, third-party tools change, and new content is added over time. We review and improve the site as we identify issues.
Accessibility standards
We use accessibility principles informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG, a widely used technical standard for making web content more accessible. Our goal is to work toward practical accessibility improvements aligned with current WCAG guidance, including WCAG 2.2 where applicable.
We do not want to overstate what we have not verified. Unless a page, tool, or feature has been specifically audited, this statement should not be read as a guarantee that every part of the website fully conforms to a specific WCAG level.
Insurance information should be understandable
Accessibility is not only about website code. Insurance information also needs to be understandable. We write in plain language because clients should not need to decode insurance jargon before they can make a decision. When technical terms matter, we explain them as clearly as possible and link to related resources. Our Learning Center, glossary, service pages, and coverage pages are built around real questions clients ask. Read more: our editorial process.
Forms, service requests, and online tools
Some tasks may involve forms, service request tools, quote forms, coverage review tools, Vantage PolicyVault, scheduling links, payment tools, carrier websites, or other third-party systems. If you cannot use a form or online tool, contact us. We can usually help by phone, email, secure upload, portal, or another reasonable method. Submitting a request, form, document, or message does not automatically bind, change, renew, or cancel coverage; changes are effective only after confirmation from the insurance company or Vantage Point Risk.
Third-party tools and websites
Some parts of the client experience rely on third-party platforms we do not fully control, such as carrier websites, payment platforms, client portals, quote tools, scheduling tools, form providers, analytics or consent tools, embedded maps, review platforms, and document upload tools. If a third-party tool prevents you from accessing information or completing a task, contact us and we will look for a reasonable alternative way to help.
Documents and downloadable content
Some insurance documents, applications, proposals, schedules, forms, PDFs, and carrier materials come from insurance companies or other third parties. If a document is difficult to read, navigate, or access, contact us. When reasonably possible, we will help provide the information in another format or walk through the document with you. Do not send sensitive personal, payment, login, or policy information through ordinary email unless our team directs you to an approved secure method. Read more: Security & Privacy.
How to report an accessibility issue
If you have trouble using the website, accessing content, submitting a form, or completing a task, contact us:
Email: support@vantagepointrisk.com
Phone: (541) 681-8793
When possible, include the page URL, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, the device and browser you were using, any assistive technology, and the best way for us to follow up. Please do not include sensitive personal, payment, login, or policy information in the first message. If sensitive information is needed, we will direct you to an approved secure method.
Alternative access to information
If an accessibility issue prevents you from using the website, we will work to provide the information or service another way when reasonably possible. Depending on the request, that may include a phone conversation, email follow-up, secure document upload, help from a team member, a different form or process, help accessing Vantage PolicyVault, or direction to the appropriate carrier or service provider.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As the website changes, we continue reviewing content, forms, navigation, and user experience for barriers that can be improved. We welcome feedback from people who use the site. A real issue reported by a real user is often the fastest way to find what needs attention. You can also handle any insurance task without the website through our service center.
