Build a career helping people make better insurance decisions.
Insurance is more than quoting policies. It takes people who can ask the right questions, explain complicated coverage clearly, follow through on commitments and keep learning as clients and markets change.
Clear expectations. Real responsibility. Room to improve how the work gets done.
We are a growing independent agency, not a call center and not a large company where good ideas disappear through layers of approval. You work closely with agency leadership, see how your work affects clients and have an opportunity to help improve the systems around you.
Direct access
You work with people who can answer questions, make decisions and help solve problems.
Multiple markets
Independent insurance means learning how different carriers approach risk and finding the option that fits the client, instead of forcing every client into one company.
Modern systems
Technology should make insurance work clearer and faster. We expect people to learn the tools, use them consistently and help us make them better.
Meaningful ownership
We provide support, but we do not assign every next action. Successful people here notice what needs attention, communicate early and follow the work through.
A path forward
Insurance offers several ways to grow: production, account management, technical specialization, operations, marketing and leadership.
You should know what is expected and have the support to reach it.
We want people to succeed because our clients feel the difference when they do. That means providing:
- Clear responsibilities and performance expectations
- Direct coaching and practical feedback
- Access to carrier markets and insurance resources
- Training on agency systems and workflows
- Opportunities to develop broader insurance knowledge
- Regular conversations about progress, obstacles and next steps
- Room to take on more responsibility as capability grows
Support does not mean avoiding accountability. It means giving people the information, tools and feedback required to produce good work.
Our clients should never have to wonder whether someone is paying attention.
Successful people at Vantage Point Risk:
- Do what they say they will do.
- Follow up without repeated reminders.
- Document their work so someone else can understand the account.
- Communicate problems before they become surprises.
- Ask questions when accuracy or coverage is uncertain.
- Learn new systems, carrier requirements and coverage concepts.
- Use unstructured time productively.
- Take responsibility for the outcome, including when something goes wrong.
- Balance production with protecting the client correctly.
This is not about working unreasonable hours. It is about producing consistent, responsible work during the hours you are here.
What kinds of jobs are found in an independent insurance agency?
An insurance agency needs more than producers. It takes advisors, account managers, service professionals, placement specialists, operations people, marketers and technology-minded problem solvers working together.
Sales and Advisory
Producers and risk advisors develop relationships, understand client needs, compare coverage options and help clients make a decision.

- Renewals are addressed before they become urgent.
