Vantage Point Risk Partners LLC operates the Vantage Point Risk Insurance Agency in Eugene, Oregon ("Vantage Point Risk," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
As an insurance agency, we are a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and we handle nonpublic personal information under the privacy and safeguarding rules that apply to insurance producers.

- Contact and identity information — name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, and, where required to place coverage, government identifiers such as a driver's license number.
- Insurance and risk information — property details, vehicle and driver information, business operations, payroll and sales figures, prior insurance and claims history, and the coverage you currently carry.
- Policy information — policy documents and the coverage selections you make with us.
- Information you send us — anything you provide through our forms, our secure upload links, Vantage PolicyVault, email, text, or phone.
- Information collected automatically — when you use our website we collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring source, through cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies and analytics below.
- Information from third parties — to quote and service coverage we may receive information from insurance carriers, wholesalers and managing general agents, consumer and motor-vehicle reporting agencies, and other authorized sources.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- quote, place, service, change, and renew insurance coverage;
- compare options across the markets available to us and prepare recommendations;
- respond to your questions and service requests, and communicate with you about your coverage;
- meet legal, regulatory, licensing, and carrier requirements;
- detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of our systems; and
- improve our website and understand how it is used.
How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to do the work you have asked us to do, or as the law requires. That includes:
- Insurance carriers, wholesalers, managing general agents, and program administrators, to quote, bind, and service your coverage.
- Premium finance companies, when you choose to finance your premium.
- Service providers who work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, such as our agency management system, secure document tools, and communication and analytics providers.
- Regulators, law enforcement, and other parties when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Text messaging
We operate a text-messaging program ("Customer Care") that you must opt in to. If you opt in, we use your mobile number to communicate with you about your quotes, policies, and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages will not affect the coverage or service you receive from us in any other way.
Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site and to understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure traffic and the performance of our marketing. These tools may set their own cookies and collect usage data subject to Google's policies.

Data security

Please send sensitive information only through our secure forms, approved upload links, or Vantage PolicyVault. Do not send Social Security numbers, full payment details, or passwords through ordinary email or text unless we direct you to an approved secure method. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to service your coverage and to meet the recordkeeping requirements that apply to insurance producers under the laws of the states where we operate, after which we dispose of it securely.
Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request access to and deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of sale is needed, but you may still exercise the rights above. Certain insurance information is governed by the Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act rather than the CCPA.
Oregon residents (Oregon Consumer Privacy Act). You have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access and obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to request deletion, and to opt out of its sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
