Our markets

Insurance companies and specialty markets we work with.

We work with a carefully selected network of national carriers, regional insurers, and specialty markets to find solutions that fit each client. Every carrier has different strengths and appetites. Our role is to match the right strategy to the right market.

Why carrier selection matters

The better question is not which carrier is best.

Most people start by asking "what is the best insurance company?" The better question is "which company is best for my situation?" Different carriers perform better in different cases.

The right insurance strategy weighs your operations, your property, your claims history, your industry, your growth plans, and your risk tolerance, then aligns those factors with the market that fits. That is the work of an independent agency, and it is why access to many carriers beats being tied to one.

Featured carriers

Recognizable names we place coverage with.

A selection of the carriers we work with. These are markets, not the whole list. The right one for you depends on your situation.

Beyond standard markets

Not every solution comes from a household name.

Many unique risks need more than a standard carrier: specialty programs, program administrators, managing general agents, wholesale markets, and excess and surplus lines carriers. These relationships let us find coverage for risks that do not fit traditional underwriting. You do not need to know which is which. That is our job. You just need options, and we have them.

And many more.

In addition to the featured carriers, we maintain relationships with numerous regional carriers, specialty markets, and program administrators.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

Do all insurance companies offer the same coverage?
No. Carriers differ in appetite, pricing, coverage forms, and service. Two policies that look similar can pay very differently, which is why matching the carrier to your situation matters more than picking a name.
Can you help if my carrier non-renews my policy?
Yes. As an independent agency we can shop your risk across many markets, including specialty and excess and surplus options, to find a replacement when a carrier exits or declines.
Can you compare multiple insurance options?
Yes. Because we are independent, we compare options across our carriers and markets and explain the tradeoffs, rather than offering one company’s products.
Do I need to change carriers every year?
No. We remarket only when it makes sense, such as a non-renewal, a meaningful rate change, or a change in your risk. Stability has value, and so does confirming you are still well placed.
Can specialty markets provide better coverage than standard carriers?
Sometimes. For unusual or hard-to-place risks, specialty programs, MGAs, and excess and surplus carriers can write coverage standard carriers will not. The right fit depends on the risk.

Carrier relationships, appetite, product availability, eligibility, pricing, and coverage vary by state and are subject to each carrier’s underwriting. Listing a carrier here is not a guarantee of placement, coverage, or pricing for any specific risk. Vantage Point Risk is an independent agency and matches each client to the market that fits their situation.
